About trade union

ommunity Based Organization, Primary Trade Union Organization of JSC “Mosgiprotrans” is a part of the Interregional Trade Union of Transport Construction Workers and Non-Governmental Organizations Employees affiliated with the Moscow Federation of Trade Unions.

The trade union organization acts on the basis of the Charter of the trade union and Regulations on the primary trade union organization.

The trade union organization of JSC “Mosgiprotrans” has the following main functions:

to develop measures and to work towards the improvement of living standards of the union members;
to represent the interests of all employees in the social partnership, to bargain collectively, to conclude collective bargaining agreements and control their implementation;
to participate in the settlement of collective labour disputes (including strikes);
to organize and participate in mass events of trade unions including meetings, gatherings, demonstrations, pickets and other collective acts;
to conduct the supervision over the compliance of an employer or the employer’s representatives with the labour legislation and other legal acts containing norms of labour law (including labour protection legislation) and over the implementation of collective bargaining agreements;
to participate in the development of labor and environmental protection programs and in the development of legal acts containing norms of labour law;
to defend the labour rights and interests of the union members from employer or employers’ association in legislative, executive, local and judicial authorities and other organizations;
to organize cultural and recreational events for the union members and their families;
to participate in the organization and development of health resort treatment, children's health-improving rest, cultural institutions, additional education, recreation and tourism, physical culture and sports, charity work;
to provide information and methodical support and advisory, legal, financial and other assistance to union members;
to perform advocacy and informational work for providing transparency of the activity of the trade union and its bodies.
