The First Vice-President of JSC Russian Railways, the General Director of JSC High-Speed Rail Lines Alexander Misharin and the Head of Glavgosexpertiza of Russia Igor Manylov circled over the future line and hold joint retreats.
The total length of the Moscow-Kazan rail line will be 772 km. Trains will cover this distance in 3 hours 17 minutes and will halt at 16 stations. The annual passenger traffic is expected to reach 10.5 million people during only first years of the line operation. As a part of the project implementation program more than 800 artificial structures will be built: 53 large and 78 small bridges, 49 overpasses and more than 150 railway and highway crossovers.
The joint retreats hold on the sections of the future rail lines were also attended by: a team of leading designers of JSC High-Speed Rail Lines, the experts of the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia, heads of local public authorities. During the stops in Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, Cheboksary and Kazan, the presentations of the relevant solutions for the line sections were performed: development of stations and railroad complexes of HSR, out-of-class bridges over the Sura river and the Volga, passing artificial structures.
At the final retreat in Kazan during which the parties discussed the design solutions concerning the trackage and construction of the railroad complex of HSR in the capital of Tatarstan, was attended by the Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Safin, the General Director of JSC Mosgiprotrans Alexander Dyatchin, the heads of ministries, departments and design organizations of the Republic, and the Chief Engineer of the Chinese company JSC Eryuan Lin Xiao-Long who is responsible for the development of ballastless track structure of the facility.
