On May 30-31, 2018, International Scientific-Practical Conference “High-Speed Railways as Economic Growth Driver” will take place at Russian Transport University RUT (MIIT). Guided by the provisions “On creation of the foundation for development of speed and high-speed rail traffic between cities” of Presidential Decree No. 204 “On national goals and strategic tasks for the Russian Federation development until 2024" dated May 7, 2018, experts will discuss the topical issues in the development of speed and high-speed transport infrastructure in Russia: “HSR as a diver of technological development”; “HSR as a diver of education development”; “Peculiarities of design, construction and operation of HSR in cold climate regions.”
Organizers and partners of the conference are Russian Transport University RUT (MIIT), Russian Transport Academy, LLC Eryuan, JSC RZD, JSC High-Speed Rail Lines, Chinese China Railway Corporation, Union of Railway Builders, Business daily “Vedomosti”.
The main speakers of the conference will be the First Deputy General Director of JSC RZD Alexander Misharin and Deputy General Director of China Railways Huang Ming.

- prospects for international transport and logistics corridors on the basis of HSR;
