On September 4, during the BRICS Business Forum in Xiamen (PRC), the President of JSC RZD Oleg Belozerov met with the President of the New Development Bank Kundapur Vaman Kamath.
The main theme of the meeting was the intensification of cooperation with the New Development Bank in various areas of activity. The parties confirmed their readiness to sign a memorandum of understanding on the site of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. The signing of the memorandum will be one of the stages of consideration of the funds allocation for the "Moscow-Kazan" HSR project.
"Our relations are actively moving forward. We have already taken practical steps in some projects and we intend to use all our competencies to implement these projects successfully," Oleg Belozerov emphasized.
Recall that the construction of the 770-kilometer Moscow-Kazan line is a pilot stage in the creation of the Eurasia HSR, a high-speed cargo and passenger line that will connect China's high-speed lines to the European "Euro Carex".
The New Development Bank is one of the largest multilateral development banks in the world, created in oder to finance infrastructure projects and sustainable development projects in the BRICS countries.
