On March 30, in Moscow, an open joint meeting of the Working Group “Construction” of the Expert Council on technical policy in the field of design, construction and operation of high-speed railways in the Russian Federation and the Union of Railway Constructors was held.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Expert Council, Rector of Moscow State University of Railway Engineering (MIIT), Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Levin B.A.; the President of the Union of Railway Constructors, the Head of the Working Group “Construction”, Candidate of Economic Sciences Talashkin G.N.; the Deputy General Director of JSC “Mosgiprotrans” Dyatchin A.V.; the Principal Engineer of JSC “SU-308” Bubnov P.M.; scientists and experts of construction companies, and suppliers of construction materials, structures and products.

During the meeting the participants analyzed the technological and design solutions developed for the Moscow - Kazan HSR; they also discussed organization of construction of a HSR section from Zheleznodorozhny station to Nizhny Novgorod station, construction of artificial structures, price determination and regulatory and technical base of the project.
